UPDATE: LeBron James' Current Injury Status For Timberwolves-Lakers Game

LeBron James is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

On Sunday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in California. 

For the game, the Lakers could be without their best player, as four-time NBA Champion LeBron James is on the injury report. 

James missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

James is in the middle of another excellent season with averages of 25.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 52.8% from the field and 40.5% from the three-point range in 56 games. 

The Lakers are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 35-30 record in 65 games. 

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 123-122. 

D'Angelo Russell led the way with 44 points, six rebounds, nine assists and one block while shooting 17/25 from the field and 9/12 from the three-point range. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Lakers will visit the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday evening in California. 

As for the Timberwolves, they come into the matchup with a 44-20 record in 64 games, which has them as the second seed in the Western Conference. 

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers (in overtime) by a score of 113-104.

Following the Lakers, the Timberwolves will play the Clippers on Tuesday evening in Los Angeles.
