FINAL UPDATE: LeBron James' Injury Status For Lakers Game On Sunday

LeBron James is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

FINAL UPDATE: LeBron James is available.

On Sunday afternoon, the Los Angeles Lakers will be in Texas to face off with Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.

For the game, LeBron James is on the injury report (foot), but the four-time NBA Champion is listed as probable, which means he will likely be in the starting lineup.

Underdog NBA: "LeBron James (foot) probable for Sunday."

James is in the middle of his 20th season in the NBA and turned 38 in December.

That said, he is still among the ten best players in the league and comes into the day with averages of 29.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 7.0 assists per contest in 46 games (while shooting 50.3% from the field).

This is his fifth season playing for the Lakers, and it's been an up-and-down tenure.

In 2018 and 2022, they missed the postseason, but in 2020 the Lakers won the NBA Championship over the Miami Heat (they lost in the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs).

Right now, the Lakers are the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 28-32 record in 60 games.

They are only 1.5 games out of the tenth seed, which is the final play-in tournament spot.

Over the last ten games, the Lakers are 5-5, and they are in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

As for the Mavs, they are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 32-29 record in 61 games.

They are one game behind the Phoenix Suns for the fourth seed.
