LeBron James' Injury Status For Suns-Lakers Game

LeBron James is on the injury report for Friday's game between the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers.

On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Phoenix Suns in California.

For the game, their best player (LeBron James) is on the injury report listed as questionable.

Via NBC Sports EDGE Basketball: "LeBron James (foot) questionable Friday vs. Suns."

The four-time NBA Champion is in the middle of another sensational season with averages of 29.0 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest in 53 games while shooting 50.2% from the field.

James is in his 20th season in the league (his fifth playing for the Lakers), and he led the franchise to the NBA Championship over the Miami Heat in 2020.

That said, they also missed the NBA Playoffs in two out of his first four seasons.

Right now, the Lakers are the seventh seed (one of the four play-in tournament spots) in the Western Conference with a 41-39 record in 80 games.

They are 7-3 in their last ten games, and this will be their first game back at home after a five-game road trip.

On the trip, the Lakers defeated the Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves, Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz in the first four games.

However, they lost 125-118 to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday evening, which snapped their four-game winning streak.

The Lakers have been solid at home, going 21-18 in the 39 games they have hosted in Los Angeles, California.

Currently, they are just one game back of the Golden State Warriors and Clippers (who are tied for the fifth seed).
