LeBron James' Official Injury Status For Lakers-Clippers Game

LeBron James is on the injury report for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will face off against the Los Angeles Clippers (as the road team) in California.    

For the game, the Lakers will be without their best player, as LeBron James has been ruled out. 

Via Underdog NBA: "LeBron James (ankle) ruled out for Tuesday."

James has played in 40 games and is averaging 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 52.0% from the field and 39.1% from the three-point range. 

The Lakers are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 22-22 record in their first 44 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Portland Trail Blazers by a score of 134-110. 

In 31 minutes of playing time, James had 28 points, five rebounds and five assists while shooting 8/16 from the field and 3/8 from the three-point range. 

Following the Clippers, the Lakers will remain in Los Angeles to host DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls on Thursday evening.  

As for the Clippers, they are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 27-14 record in their first 41 games. 

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Clippers beat the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 125-114. 

James Harden led the team with 24 points and ten assists. 

Following the Lakers, they will travel to Canada to face off against RJ Barrett and the Toronto Raptors on Friday evening.
