FINAL UPDATE: LeBron James has been upgraded to available.

On Sunday afternoon, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Chicago Bulls in California.

For the game, they could have their best player back in the lineup, as LeBron James has been upgraded to questionable.

He has missed each of the last 13 games due to a foot injury and was listed as doubtful on Saturday night.

Underdog NBA: "LeBron James (foot) now questionable Sunday."

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski also reported an update on James.

Via Wojnarowski: "LeBron James is expected to test his foot pregame to see if he can make his return today, source says."

Before his extended absence from the lineup, the 19-time NBA All-Star had been in the middle of another fantastic season.

He is currently averaging 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.9 assists per contest in 47 games while shooting 50.1% from the field.

Without James, the Lakers have been able to keep themselves afloat in the standings and are 7-3 in their last ten games.

They are also on a three-game winning streak and the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

Currently, the Lakers are 37-37 in 74 games and only 1.5 games back of the Golden State Warriors for the sixth seed.

At home, they are 21-17 in the 38 games they have hosted in Los Angeles, California.

As for the Bulls, they are the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 35-38 record in 73 games.

They are 6-4 in their last ten games but just 15-21 in the 36 games they have played on the road away from the United Center.
