The Lakers have a commanding 3-1 lead in the series, so they can close out the Grizzlies with a win on Wednesday night.

After splitting Games 1 and 2 in Memphis, the Lakers won both Games 3 and 4 in Los Angeles.

Game 4 went into overtime, and LeBron James had a fantastic night with 22 points, 20 rebounds, seven assists and two blocks (the Lakers won 117-111).

The franchise won the NBA Championship in 2020, but they are coming off a disappointing season where they went 33-49 and missed the playoffs.

This year, the Lakers looked like they would once again miss the postseason, but they played phenomenally after the trading deadline and solidified the seventh seed in the Western Conference (they beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in the play-in tournament).

As for the Grizzlies, they are a young team with a lot of talent and made the second round of the playoffs last year.

On the road, the Lakers are 21-22, while the Grizzlies are 36-7 at home.

Whoever wins the series will advance to the second round and face off against either the Golden State Warriors or the Sacramento Kings.
