UPDATE: Los Angeles Lakers Player Could Miss Game 3

Mo Bamba is questionable for Game 3.

UPDATE: Mo Bamba has been ruled out

On Saturday evening, Game 3 of the second-round playoff series between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers will take place at Crypto.com Arena.

Mo Bamba has yet to play in the series and has been dealing with an ankle injury.

For Game 3, the former Texas star is once again on the injury report and listed as questionable.

Underdog NBA: "Status alert: Mo Bamba (ankle) listed questionable for Saturday."

Bamba was the sixth pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and spent the first four and half seasons of his career with the Orlando Magic.

He was traded to the Lakers in February and finished the 2022-23 regular season with averages of 6.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per contest while shooting 48.5% from the field and 38.7% from the three-point range.

That said, he only averaged 3.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per contest in his nine games with the Lakers.

During the NBA Playoffs, Bamba has played in just three games (and averaged 3.3 minutes of playing time per contest).

He's still an essential part of their roster because he is the backup center and the tallest player on the team.

In Game 1, the Lakers won 117-112, but the Warriors responded with a massive 127-100 blowout victory in Game 2 on Thursday evening.

With Games 3 and 4 in Los Angeles, the Lakers have a chance to take a commanding lead in the series.

Whoever wins the series will face off against either the Denver Nuggets or the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference Finals.
