FINAL UPDATE: Luka Doncic's Current Injury Status For Kings-Mavs Game

Luka Doncic is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

On Sunday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will host the Sacramento Kings in Texas.  

For the game, they could be without their best player, as Luka Doncic is on the injury report.  

Via Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News: "Mavs list Luka Doncic (right knee soreness) as questionable for tonight's game against Sacramento. Seth Curry is out with right hip soreness."

Doncic has played in all 13 games so far this season and is averaging 31.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 8.2 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 50.9% from the field and 42.2% from the three-point range. 

The Mavs are 9-4 in their first 13 games and most recently lost to the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 132-125. 

In 35 minutes of playing time, Doncic had 35 points, nine rebounds and nine assists while shooting 15/26 from the field and 4/9 from the three-point range. 

Doncic was the third pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and is in his sixth season in the league (all with the Mavs). 

He is coming off a year where he averaged 32.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 49.6% from the field and 34.2% from the three-point range.

Following the Kings, the Mavs will play their next game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday evening in California.

As for the Kings, they are 7-4 in their first 11 games and in the middle of a five-game winning streak.

They most recently defeated the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 129-120.
