FINAL UPDATE: Luka Doncic's Injury Status For Mavs-Kings Game

Luka Doncic is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

FINAL UPDATE: Luka Doncic will be available.

On Saturday night, the Dallas Mavericks are in California to face off with the Sacramento Kings for the second straight game.

The two teams played on Friday and the Mavs won 122-114 (Kyrie Irving led the way with 25 points and ten assists).

For Saturday's contest, Luka Doncic is once again on the injury report, but he is listed as probable.

Therefore, there is an excellent chance he will return to the starting lineup for the first time in four games.

Via Mavs PR: "Luka Dončić (right heel contusion) is probable for tonight’s game in Sacramento."

If Doncic plays, it will be his first time on the floor with Irving, who the Mavs recently acquired in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets.

Doncic is in the middle of an MVP-caliber season and has averages of 33.4 points, 8.9 rebounds and 8.2 assists per contest in 47 games.

He is also shooting 50.4% from the field and 35.3% from the three-point range.

Last season, Doncic led the Mavs to the Western Conference Finals, so the addition of Irving makes them a legitimate title contender (Irving is averaging 27.0 points per contest on 48.5% shooting from the field).

Right now, the Mavs are the fourth seed in the west with a 31-26 record in 57 games.

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 6-4 in their last ten games.

As for the Kings, they are one spot ahead of the Mavs (third seed) with a 31-24 record in 55 games.
