Luka Doncic's Injury Status For Mavs-Rockets Game

Luka Doncic is on the injury report for Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will be in Houston to face off against the Rockets.

For the game, the Mavs will be without their best player, as Luka Doncic has been ruled out.  

Via Underdog NBA: "Luka Doncic (quad) ruled out for Friday."

Doncic has played in 26 games and has averages of 32.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 9.1 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 48.5% from the field and 37.6% from the three-point range. 

The Mavs are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 16-11 record in their first 27 games.  

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Mavs lost to the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 120-111. 

In 44 minutes of playing time, Doncic had 28 points, ten rebounds, ten assists and one steal while shooting 9/25 from the field and 2/11 from the three-point range. 

Following the Rockets, the Mavs will play their next game on Saturday evening when they host the San Antonio Spurs in Dallas. 

As for the Rockets, they are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 13-12 record in their first 25 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and are 5-5 over their last ten games.

Most recently, the Rockets lost to the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 134-127.

Following the Mavs, they will visit Brandon Ingram and the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday evening in Louisiana.
