UPDATE: Malcolm Brogdon's Current Injury Status For Trail Blazers-Spurs Game

UPDATE: Malcolm Brogdon has been ruled out.   

On Friday evening, the Portland Trail Blazers will be in Texas to face off against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. 

For the game, the Trail Blazers could be without one of their best players, as Malcolm Brogdon is on the injury report. 

Via The Trail Blazers on Thursday: "INJURY UPDATE: Malcolm Brogdon (R Knee Contusion) is QUESTIONABLE for tomorrow’s game @ SAS."

Brogdon has played in 35 games and is averaging 15.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.3 assists per contest while shooting 43.7% from the field and 42.2% from the three-point range.

The Trail Blazers are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 13-31 record in their first 44 games. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Houston Rockets (in overtime) by a score of 137-131. 

In 41 minutes of playing time, Brogdon had 19 points, two rebounds and six assists while shooting 8/19 from the field and 3/7 from the three-point range. 

Following San Antonio, the Trail Blazers will return home to host DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls on Sunday evening in Oregon. 

As for the Spurs, they are the 15th seed (last place) in the Western Conference with an 8-36 record in their first 44 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games. 

Following the Trail Blazers, the Spurs will remain at home to host Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday evening in Texas.
