The Heat come into the evening as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 36-33 record in 69 games.

They are 4-6 in their last ten games but a very impressive 22-13 in 35 games hosted at home in Miami, Florida.

In two out of the last three seasons, they have been to the Eastern Conference Finals, and in 2020 they made the NBA Finals.

Most recently, the Heat lost in Game 7 of the Conference Finals to the Boston Celtics (last season).

Currently, they are in one of the four play-in tournament spots and only 3.5 games back of the tie between the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks for the fifth seed.

As for the Jazz, they are in a four-way tie for the ninth seed in the Western Conference and have a 33-35 record in 68 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

On the road, the Jazz have struggled in a big way, going just 13-22 in the 35 games they have played outside of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Last season, they lost in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
