UPDATE: Key Role Player Could Miss Lakers-Warriors Game 2

Mo Bamba is listed as questionable on the injury report for Game 2.

UPDATE: Mo Bamba has been ruled out.

On Thursday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will be back in San Francisco to face off with the Golden State Warriors for Game 2 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, they could be without Mo Bamba, who is listed as questionable on the injury report

Underdog NBA: "Status alert: Mo Bamba (ankle) questionable for Thursday."

Bamba was traded to the Lakers (via the Orlando Magic) in February, and while he doesn't put up big numbers, he is their backup center with significant size.

During the regular season, the former Texas star averaged 6.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per contest while shooting 48.5% from the field and 38.7% from the three-point range.

The 24-year-old missed Game 1, and ESPN's Dave McMenamin reported a detailed update on what he's been dealing with (on May 2).

Via McMenamin on May 2: "Lakers backup center Mo Bamba is listed is out for Game 1 against GSW with left ankle soreness. It’s the same ankle that caused him to miss a month late in the regular season. Bamba received an injection to alleviate discomfort in between the first and second rounds, sources told ESPN. He is considered day to day. Bamba was walking with the aid of a crutch at shootaround Tuesday morning"

The Lakers currently have a 1-0 lead in the series after winning Tuesday's game by a score of 117-112.

Whoever wins the series will advance to the Western Conference Finals and face off against either the Denver Nuggets or the Phoenix Suns.
