NBA Play-In Tournament Injury Report - Wednesday, April 12, 2023

Four teams will participate in Wednesday’s Play-In Tournament games. Here are all of the key injury updates you need to know for all of the teams in action.

The 2022-23 NBA regular season has come to an end, which means it is time for the playoffs!

Before the start of the playoffs though, four teams in the Eastern and Western Conference will battle it out to try and keep their hopes of earning a playoff spot alive, as two elimination games are set to take place in the Play-In Tournament.

On Tuesday, April 11, the 9-seeded Toronto Raptors will host the 10-seeded Chicago Bulls in the East and in the West, the 9-seeded New Orleans Pelicans will host the 10-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder. The two winners of these games will advance to play in the final 8-seed play-in game on Friday night.

As for the losers, they will officially be eliminated from postseason contention.

Below is a list of every game set to take place today, as well as every team’s injury report with their updated status leading up to tip-off in each game:


Eastern Conference 9-seed vs. 10-seed Elimination Play-In Game: [10] Chicago Bulls (40-42) at [9] Toronto Raptors (41-41) - 7:00 p.m. ET.

Bulls Injuries: Lonzo Ball (knee) - Out, Justin Lewis (knee) - Out

Raptors Injuries: Otto Porter Jr. (foot) - Out


Western Conference 9-seed vs. 10-seed Elimination Play-In Game: [10] Oklahoma City Thunder (40-42) at [9] New Orleans Pelicans (42-40) - 9:30 p.m. ET.

Thunder Injuries: Chet Holmgren (foot) - Out, Kenrich Williams (wrist) - Out, Aleksej Pokusevski (knee) - Out

Pelicans Injuries: E.J. Liddell (knee) - Out, Zion Williamson (hamstring) - Out, Jose Alvarado (leg) - Out, Larry Nance Jr. (ankle) - Questionable
