BREAKING: Nikola Jokic's Final Injury Status For Timberwolves-Nuggets Game

Nikola Jokic has been upgraded to available for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Denver Nuggets are hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves for Game 2 of their first-round playoff series.

For the game, they will have their best player in the starting lineup, as Nikola Jokic has been upgraded to available

The two-time MVP played well in Game 1, putting up 13 points, 14 rebounds, six assists and one steal in 28 minutes of playing time.

He averaged a sensational 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.3 steals per contest during the regular season.

The Nuggets won Game 1 by a score of 109-80, so they can take a commanding 2-0 lead with a victory on Wednesday evening.

Games 3 and 4 will be at the Target Center in Minnesota.

The Nuggets finished the year with a 53-29 record, which has them as the first seed in the Western Conference.

They are coming off a season where they dealt with injuries and lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Golden State Warriors.

That said, they have one of the deepest rosters in the NBA and have the potential to make a deep run this year.

As for the Timberwolves, they went 42-40 and are the eighth seed.

Last year, they made the playoffs for the first time since the 2018 season.

However, they have a very talented roster, so they were expected to be much better.

The winner of the series will face off against either the Phoenix Suns or Los Angeles Clippers in the second round.
