Nuggets And Grizzlies Injury Reports

The Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies and have announced their injury reports.

On Friday evening, the Memphis Grizzlies will host the Denver Nuggets in Tennessee. 

For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports.  

The Nuggets have ruled out Vlatko Cancar and Jay Huff.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies will be without Steven Adams, Santi Aldama, Brandon Clarke, Luke Kennard and Ja Morant.

The Nuggets played their first game of the season against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers (at home on Tuesday), and won by a score of 119-107. 

Nikola Jokic had a sensational night with 29 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and one block while shooting 12/22 from the field in 36 minutes of playing time. 

The team also shot an impressive 52.7% from the field and 41.2% from the three-point range. 

Last year, the Nuggets were the first seed in the Western Conference and won the 2023 NBA Championship over the Miami Heat (in five games). 

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies played their first game of the season (on Wednesday at home) against Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans. 

The Pelicans won the game by a score of 111-104, and Williamson had 23 points and seven rebounds. 

Desmond Bane led Memphis with 31 points, five rebounds and five assists. 

Last year, the Grizzlies were the second seed in the Western Conference with a 51-31 record. 

However, they lost to the Lakers in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in six games). 

The franchise has made the playoffs for three straight seasons but has only been able to win one series in that span.
