OG Anunoby's Official Injury Status For Grizzlies-Knicks Game

OG Anunoby has been ruled out for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the New York Knicks will host the Memphis Grizzlies at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.  

For the game, the Knicks will be without one of their best players, as OG Anunoby has been ruled out.  

The former Indiana Hoosiers star has missed each of the previous four games, so this will be his fifth straight out of the lineup.

Via SNY's Ian Begley on Monday: "Knicks are listing OG Anunoby (right elbow inflammation) and Quentin Grimes (sprained right knee) as out tomorrow vs. Memphis."

Anunoby has played in 41 games and is averaging 15.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 49.8% from the field and 37.9% from the three-point range.   

The Knicks are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 32-18 record in their first 50 games.  

They are 9-1 over their last ten games but most recently lost to LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 113-105 (at home on Saturday). 

Following the Grizzlies, the Knicks will remain at home to host Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday evening at Madison Square Garden.  

As for the Grizzlies, they are the 13th seed in the Western Conference with an 18-32 record in 50 games. 

They are in the middle of a five-game losing streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games. 

Following New York, the Grizzlies will return home to host DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls on Thursday evening in Memphis, Tennessee.
