UPDATE: Paul George's Current Injury Status For Clippers-Wizards Game

Paul George is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: Paul George has been ruled out (h/t ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk). 

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers will face off against the Washington Wizards in Washington, D.C.  

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as star forward Paul George is on the injury report.  

Via Underdog NBA: "Paul George (groin) now listed questionable Wednesday."

George has played in 43 games and is averaging 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 41.2% from the three-point range.  

The Clippers are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 30-15 record in their first 45 games.  

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 118-108.

In 27 minutes of playing time, George had 13 points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block while shooting 3/11 from the field and 0/5 from the three-point range. 

Following the Wizards, the Clippers will head to Michigan to face off against Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons on Friday evening. 

As for the Wizards, they are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 9-37 record in their first 46 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Wizards beat the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 118-113. 

Following the Clippers, they will remain at home to host Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat on Friday evening.
