UPDATE: Rudy Gobert is available.

UPDATE: Rudy Gobert is a game-time decision (h/t Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic).

On Tuesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will play Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs at the Target Center.

For the game, the Timberwolves could be without one of their best players, as starting center Rudy Gobert is on the injury report.

The three-time NBA All-Star also missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

Via Underdog NBA: "Rudy Gobert (ankle) questionable for Tuesday."

Gobert is having a productive season with averages of 13.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.1 blocks per contest while shooting 64.9% from the field in 55 games.

The Timberwolves are tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the first seed in the Western Conference and have a 40-17 record in 57 games.

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently defeated Mikal Bridges and the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 101-86.

Following their matchup with the Spurs, the Timberwolves will remain in Minnesota to host the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday evening at the Target Center.

As for the Spurs, they are the 15th seed (last place) in the Western Conference with a 11-47 record in 58 games.

They are in the middle of a four-game losing streak and are 1-9 over their last ten games.

Most recently, the Spurs lost to Jordan Clarkson and the Utah Jazz by a score of 128-119.

Following the Timberwolves, they will return home to host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday evening in Texas.
