UPDATE: Rudy Gobert's Injury Status For Magic-Timberwolves Game

On Friday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Orlando Magic at the Target Center. 

For the game, the Timberwolves could be without one of their best players, as Rudy Gobert is on the injury report.

Gobert has played in 47 games and is averaging 13.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.1 blocks per contest while shooting 63.9% from the field. 

The Timberwolves are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 34-14 record in their first 48 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and have gone 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Timberwolves beat the Dallas Mavericks by a score of 121-87. 

In 28 minutes of playing time, Gobert had 17 points, six rebounds and two blocks while shooting 5/9 from the field. 

Following the Magic, the Timberwolves will remain at home to host Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets on Sunday evening. 

At the Target Center, they have gone 18-4 in 22 games. 

As for the Magic, they are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 25-23 record in their first 48 games.  

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently beat the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 108-98. 

Paolo Banchero led the way with 25 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Magic will travel to Michigan to face off against Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons on Sunday afternoon.
