FINAL UPDATE: Rudy Gobert's Injury Status For Timberwolves-Bulls Game

On Friday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be in Illinois to face off with the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.   

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Rudy Gobert is on the injury report.   

The three-time NBA All-Star center is listed as questionable due to an ankle injury.

Gobert is in his first year with the Timberwolves after spending nine seasons playing for the Jazz. 

Right now, the three-time Defensive Player of The Year is averaging 13.7 points, 11.4 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.4 blocks per contest in 58 games (while shooting 67.2% from the field).   

The Timberwolves enter the night in a tie with the Dallas Mavericks for the seventh seed in the Western Conference.  

They are 35-35 in 70 games and have gone 4-6 in their last ten. 

On the road, the Timberwolves have struggled, going just 15-18 in the 33 games they have played away from the Target Center in Minnesota. 

Last season, they made the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2018 season. 

As for the Bulls, they come into the game with a 31-37 record in 68 games, which has them tied with the Indiana Pacers for the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and 18-16 in the 34 games they have hosted at the United Center in Chicago.

The Bulls are coming off a year where they made the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2017.
