UPDATE: Rudy Gobert's Injury Status For Timberwolves-Celtics Game

Rudy Gobert is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: Rudy Gobert has been ruled out (h/t ESPN's Tim Bontemps). 

On Wednesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be in Boston to face off against Jaylen Brown and the Celtics. 

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as starting center Rudy Gobert is on the injury report. 

Via Underdog NBA: "Rudy Gobert (hip) questionable Wednesday."

Gobert has played in all 36 games and is averaging 12.8 points, 12.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.1 blocks per contest while shooting 62.6% from the field. 

The Timberwolves are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 26-10 record in their first 36 games. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Orlando Magic by a score of 113-92. 

In 34 minutes of playing time, Gobert had 21 points, 12 rebounds, one assist, one steal and three blocks while shooting 8/10 from the field. 

Following the Celtics, the Timberwolves will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday evening at the Target Center. 

On the road, they are 12-8 in 20 games, while they are 14-2 in the 16 games they have played at home.

As for the Celtics, they are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 28-8 record in their first 36 games.  

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Indiana Pacers by a score of 133-131.  

Following the Timberwolves, the Celtics will visit Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday evening in Wisconsin. 

At home, they are a perfect 17-0 in Boston.
