FINAL UPDATE: Rudy Gobert's Injury Status For Timberwolves-Knicks Game

On Monday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves will face off with the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in New York City. 

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Rudy Gobert is on the injury report listed as questionable.

The three-time NBA All-Star is in his first season playing for the Timberwolves after being traded (via the Utah Jazz) over the summer.  

Gobert is currently averaging a solid 13.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.4 blocks per contest in 60 games (while shooting 66.6% from the field). 

The Timberwolves come into the night with a 35-37 record in 72 games, which has them tied with the Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz for the ninth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 4-6 in their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game losing streak. 

On the road, the Timberwolves have struggled, going just 15-20 in 35 games away from the Target Center in Minnesota.  

Last season, they made the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2018. 

As for the Knicks, they are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 42-30 record in 72 games. 

They are on a three-game winning streak and 7-3 in their last ten games. 

At home, the Knicks are 20-16 in the 36 games they have hosted at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

After finishing as the fourth seed in 2021, they missed the postseason in 2022.
