UPDATE: Rudy Gobert's Injury Status For Trail Blazers-Timberwolves Game

Rudy Gobert is on the injury report for Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Portland Trail Blazers at the Target Center.  

For the game, the Timberwolves could be without one of their best players, as Rudy Gobert is on the injury report. 

Gobert missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

Gobert has played in 36 games and is averaging 12.8 points, 12.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.1 blocks per contest while shooting 62.6% from the field.   

The Timberwolves are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 26-11 record in their first 37 games.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics by a score of 127-120. 

Following the Trail Blazers, the Timberwolves will host Russell Westbrook and the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday evening. 

At home, they are 14-2 in the 16 games they have hosted at the Target Center. 

As for the Trail Blazers, they are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 10-27 record in their first 37 games.  

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Trail Blazers will host Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns on Sunday evening in Portland.
