Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's Official Status For Nuggets-Thunder Game

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been upgraded to available.

On Wednesday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Denver Nuggets in Oklahoma. 

For the game, they will have their best player in the starting lineup, as All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been upgraded to available.

Via Underdog NBA: "Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (illness) listed available to play Wednesday."

Gilgeous-Alexander is in the middle of another sensational season with averages of 31.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 2.2 steals per contest while shooting 54.7% from the field and 34.2% from the three-point range in 46 games. 

The Thunder are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 32-15 record in their first 47 games.  

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game losing streak.  

In their most recent game, the Thunder lost to Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 107-101.

Gilgeous-Alexander was brilliant, as he put up 37 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and two steals while shooting 10/18 from the field and 2/3 from the three-point range in 39 minutes of playing time. 

Following Denver, the Thunder will host the Charlotte Hornets on Friday evening in Oklahoma City. 

As for the Nuggets, they are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 33-15 record in their first 48 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Following the Thunder, the Nuggets will host Malcolm Brogdon and the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday evening in Colorado.
