Significant Jaylen Brown Update Ahead Of Hawks-Celtics Playoff Series

Boston Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown fully participated in practice on Thursday.

On Saturday, the Boston Celtics will host the Atlanta Hawks for Game 1 of their first-round playoff series.

All-Star forward Jaylen Brown has missed each of the last two games due to a finger injury.

However, the former Cal star fully participated in practice on Thursday (h/t Underdog NBA).

Via The Celtics: "Jaylen Brown went through all of practice today without any restrictions, according to Coach Mazzulla."

Brown is one of their top-two players, so having him available will be vital for the Celtics to get off to a good start to the series.

He had an outstanding season with averages of 26.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.1 steals per contest in 67 games.

The two-time NBA All-Star also shot 49.1% from the field and 33.5% from the three-point range.

He is in his seventh season in the NBA and has already been to the Eastern Conference Finals four times.

Last year, Brown helped lead the franchise to the NBA Finals for the first time since the 2010 season.

The Celtics picked up right where they left off, finishing the 2022-23 regular season as the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 57-25 record.

They went 8-2 over their final ten games and are in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

At home, the Celtics were sensational, going 32-9 in the 41 games they hosted on their home floor in Massachusetts.

The Celtics have beaten the Hawks all three times they faced off this year and are on a five-game winning streak over the Hawks dating back to last year
