Steph Curry's Injury Status For Thunder-Warriors Game

Steph Curry has been ruled out for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Golden State Warriors will host the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.   

For the game, the Warriors will remain without their best player, as two-time MVP Steph Curry has been ruled out.

Via The Warriors on Wednesday: "Stephen Curry, who did not play in last night’s game against the Timberwolves due to a sore right knee, underwent an MRI yesterday afternoon to determine the extent of the injury. 

The MRI did not reveal any structural damage. Stephen will not play in Thursday’s game against the Thunder and will be re-evaluated at some point later this week."

Curry had been off to a sensational start to the season and is averaging 30.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 48.8% from the field and 44.6% from the three-point range in 11 games. 

The Warriors are 6-6 in their first 12 games and in the middle of a four-game losing streak. 

Most recently, they lost to Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 104-101. 

As for the Thunder, they are 7-4 in their first 11 games and in the middle of a two-game winning streak.  

Most recently, they defeated the San Antonio Spurs (at home in Oklahoma) by a score of 123-87. 

All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 28 points, six rebounds, five assists and seven steals while shooting 10/16 from the field and 1/4 from the three-point range in 28 minutes of playing time.
