Steph Curry's Official Injury Status For Spurs-Warriors Game

Steph Curry has been ruled out for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Golden State Warriors will host the San Antonio Spurs at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. 

For the game, the Warriors will be without their best player, as two-time MVP Steph Curry has been ruled out.

Curry is in the middle of an excellent season with averages of 26.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per contest while shooting 44.9% from the field and 40.7% from the three-point range in 59 games.

The Warriors are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 33-29 record in 62 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games but most recently lost to DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls by a score of 125-122.

Late in the fourth quarter, Curry left the game (and did not return) with an injury

Curry finished his night with 15 points, three rebounds and one assist while shooting 5/18 from the field and 3/12 from the three-point range in 29 minutes of playing time. 

As for the Spurs, they enter the matchup with a 13-50 record in 63 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Western Conference (last place). 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and have gone 3-7 over their last ten games.  

Most recently, the Spurs lost to the Sacramento Kings by a score of 131-129.

Following Saturday's game, the Warriors and Spurs will face off (again) on Monday evening in San Antonio, Texas.
