Thunder And Timberwolves Final Injury Reports And Starting Lineups

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves have finalized their injury reports and starting lineups.

On Friday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves will face off at the Target Center for the final play-in tournament game.     

For the game, both teams have finalized their injury reports and starting lineups.

The Thunder have ruled out Aleksej Pokusevski, Kenrich Williams and Chet Holmgren. 

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves will be without Naz Reid and Jaden McDaniels. 

Jaylen Nowell, Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns have all been upgraded to available.

The starting lineups for both teams have been relayed by Underdog NBA. 

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Thunder will start Gilgeous-Alexander, Dort, Giddey, Jalen Williams, Jaylin Williams on Friday."

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Wolves will start Conley, Edwards, Alexander-Walker, Towns, Gobert on Friday."

The winner of the game will go into the NBA Playoffs as the eighth seed in the Western Conference and face off with Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in the first round.  

Meanwhile, the loser will have their season come to an end and head into the 2023 offseason. 

The Thunder are coming off a 123-118 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans (on Wednesday night in Louisiana) in the first play-in tournament game. 

They finished the regular season with a 40-42 record and have been one of the best surprises in the league. 

As for the Timberwolves, they are coming off a 108-102 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night in California. 

They went 42-40 during the regular season but had been expected to be much better, so they have had a disappointing year.
