Timberwolves And Nuggets Final Injury Reports And Starting Lineups

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets have finalized their injury reports and starting lineups.

On Sunday evening, the Denver Nuggets are hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves in Colorado for Game 1 of their first-round playoff series.  

For the game, both teams have finalized their injury reports and starting lineups.  

The Timberwolves have ruled out Naz Reid and Jaden McDaniels.  

Jaylen Nowell and three-time NBA All-Star Rudy Gobert have both been upgraded to available. 

Meanwhile, there is no one on the injury report for the Nuggets, so they come into the 2023 NBA Playoffs fully healthy.

The starting lineups for both teams have been relayed by Underdog NBA. 

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Wolves will start Conley, Edwards, Alexander-Walker, Towns, Gobert on Sunday."

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Nuggets will start Murray, Caldwell-Pope, Porter Jr., Gordon, Jokic on Sunday."

The Timberwolves finished the year as the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 42-40 record. 

They lost their first play-in tournament game against the Los Angeles Lakers in California but were able to defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder to clinch the final playoff spot. 

As for the Nuggets, they are the best team in the Western Conference (first seed) and had a 53-29 record. 

On the road, the Timberwolves have gone 20-22 (counting Tuesday's loss to the Lakers) in the 42 games they have played away from the Target Center, while the Nuggets are an incredible 34-7 in the 41 games they hosted in Denver. 

Last season, both teams lost in the first round of the playoffs. 

In their four matchups this season, the Nuggets and Timberwolves both went 2-2.
