Tyler Herro's Injury Status For Nuggets-Heat Game

Tyler Herro has been ruled out for Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

On Wednesday evening, the Miami Heat are hosting the Denver Nuggets for Game 3 of the NBA Finals in Florida.

For the game, they will remain without one of their best players, as Tyler Herro has been ruled out.

Via Underdog NBA: "Tyler Herro (hand) ruled out for Wednesday."

The former Kentucky star injured his hand in the first game of the Playoffs, so he has been out for nearly two months.

During the regular season, Herro had impressive averages of 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest while shooting 43.9% from the field and 37.8% from the three-point range.

The 2022 6th Man of The Year is in his fourth season in the league (all with the Heat) and has helped them reach the NBA Playoffs every year.

The Heat had a miraculous run through the Eastern Conference, as they are only the second 8th seed ever to reach the NBA Finals.

Through the first three rounds, they defeated the Milwaukee Bucks (first seed), New York Knicks (fifth seed) and Boston Celtics (second seed).

After losing Game 1 against the Nuggets, the Heat were able to win 111-108 in Game 2 (on Monday evening in Denver).

Now, they have two straight games on their home floor in Miami, with the series tied up at 1-1.

As for the Nuggets, they are the first seed in the Western Conference and have beat the Minnesota Timberwolves (seventh seed), Phoenix Suns (fourth seed) and Los Angeles Lakers (seventh seed) through the first three rounds.
