Tyler Herro's Injury Status For Timberwolves-Heat Game

Tyler Herro is available for Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the Miami Heat will host Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves in Florida. 

For the game, they will have one of their best players back in action, as Tyler Herro is available. 

The former Kentucky star had missed each of the previous 18 games, so this will be a significant boost for the Heat's offense.

Herro has played in eight games so far this season and is averaging 22.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 44.7% from the field and 41.0% from the three-point range. 

The Heat are 15-11 in their first 26 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Chicago Bulls by a score of 118-116. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Heat will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit the Magic in Orlando.

As for the Timberwolves, they have been among the best teams in the NBA to start the season.  

They are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 19-5 record in their first 24 games.  

In addition, the Timberwolves are 8-2 over their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

Most recently, they defeated the Indiana Pacers by a score of 127-109. 

Following the Heat, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers.
