UPDATE: Tyrese Haliburton's Current Injury Status For Pacers-Celtics Game

Tyrese Haliburton is on the injury report for Tuesday's game.

UPDATE: head coach Rick Carlisle said that he expects Haliburton to play (via The Wake Up Call).  

On Tuesday evening, the Indiana Pacers will face off against the Boston Celtics in Massachusetts.   

For the game, All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton is listed as questionable on the injury report.  

He has missed each of the previous five games, but ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported (on Monday) a positive update.  

Via Wojnarowski on Monday: "ESPN Sources: There’s optimism Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton will return to the lineup vs. the Boston Celtics on Tuesday. Haliburton — who was selected a starter in the All-Star Game — has missed 10 of the past 11 games with a hamstring injury."

Haliburton is in the middle of another fantastic season and has averages of 23.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 12.6 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 49.6% from the field and 40.0% from the three-point range in 34 games.   

The Pacers are the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 27-20 record in their first 47 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games but are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

Following the Celtics, the Pacers will visit the New York Knicks on Thursday evening at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.  

As for the Celtics, they are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 36-11 record in their first 47 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and are an outstanding 21-2 in 23 games at home. 

Following the Pacers, the Celtics will host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.
