UPDATE: Tyrese Haliburton's Current Injury Status For Pistons-Pacers Game

Tyrese Haliburton is on the injury report for Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Indiana Pacers will host the Detroit Pistons in Indianapolis. 

For the game, they could be without their best player, as Tyrese Haliburton is on the injury report.

The All-Star point guard is off to a fantastic start to the season with averages of 25.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 12.3 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 52.1% from the field and 46.2% from the three-point range in 13 games. 

The Pacers are 8-6 in their first 14 games which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.  

They are 6-4 in their last ten games and 5-4 in the nine games they have hosted on their home floor. 

Most recently, the Pacers lost to the Toronto Raptors by a score of 132-131. 

In 34 minutes of playing time, Haliburton had 33 points, three rebounds, 16 assists and one block while shooting 12/22 from the field and 5/10 from the three-point range. 

Haliburton was the 12th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and is in his fourth season in the NBA (his third with the Pacers). 

Following the Pistons, the Pacers will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday evening. 

As for the Pistons, they are 2-13 in their first 15 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are in the middle of a 12-game losing streak and 1-7 in the eight games they have played on the road away from Detroit.
