UPDATE: Tyrese Maxey's Current Status For Hawks-76ers Game

Tyrese Maxey is on the injury report for Friday's game.

UPDATE: Tyrese Maxey has been ruled out (h/t Gina Mizell of The Philadelphia Inquirer).  

On Friday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will host Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks in Pennsylvania.   

For the game, the 76ers could be without one of their best players, as Tyrese Maxey is on the injury report.   

Via Underdog NBA: "Tyrese Maxey (illness) now listed questionable Friday."

Maxey has played in 46 games and is averaging 25.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 44.8% from the field and 37.9% from the three-point range.   

The 76ers are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 30-20 record in 50 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the 76ers lost to Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors by a score of 127-104. 

In 30 minutes of playing time, Maxey had 12 points, two rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block while shooting 5/14 from the field and 2/7 from the three-point range. 

Following the Hawks, the 76ers will visit Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards on Saturday evening. 

As for the Hawks, they are the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 22-29 record in 51 games.  

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 4-6 over their last ten games.  

Most recently, the Hawks lost to Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics by a score of 125-117.  

Following the 76ers, they will head home to host the Houston Rockets on Saturday evening at State Farm Arena.
