Tyrese Maxey's Official Injury Status For Grizzlies-76ers Game

Tyrese Maxey is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will host the Memphis Grizzlies in Pennsylvania.  

For the game, the 76ers will be without one of their best players, as All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey has been ruled out.    

Maxey also missed the team's last game, so this will be his second straight out of the lineup.

Maxey is in the middle of an excellent season with averages of 26.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 44.9% from the field and 37.8% from the three-point range in 55 games.   

The 76ers enter the evening as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 35-26 record in 61 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 112-107 (at Barclays Center in New York). 

Following their matchup with the Grizzlies, the 76ers will play their next game on Friday evening when they host Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans. 

At home, they are 19-13 in 32 games. 

As for the Grizzlies, they are the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 21-41 record in 62 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Nets (on the road) by a score of 106-102. 

Following their matchup with the 76ers, the Grizzlies will play their next game on Friday evening when they return home to host Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks.
