Tyrese Maxey's Official Injury Status For Pelicans-76ers Game

Tyrese Maxey is on the injury report for Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will host the New Orleans Pelicans in Pennsylvania.   

For the game, the 76ers will remain without one of their best players, as All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey has been ruled out.    

Maxey has missed each of the previous two games, so this will be his third straight out of the lineup.

Maxey is averaging 26.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 44.9% from the field and 37.8% from the three-point range in 55 games. 

The 76ers are the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 35-27 record in 62 games. 

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the 76ers lost to the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 115-109.

Following their matchup with the Pelicans, they will play their next game on Sunday evening when they visit the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.

As for the Pelicans, they are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-25 record in 62 games.  

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

Most recently, the Pelicans beat the Toronto Raptors by a score of 139-98.

Following the 76ers, they will play their next game on Sunday evening when they visit the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena in Georgia.
