UPDATE: Victor Wembanyama's Current Injury Status For Spurs-Rockets Game

Victor Wembanyama is on the injury report for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the San Antonio Spurs will be in Houston for a showdown with the Rockets.  

For the game, the Spurs could be without their best player, as star rookie Victor Wembanyama is on the injury report.  

Via Tom Orsborn of San Antonio Express-News: "#Spurs didn't have a shootaround this morning, but the word here in Houston is Wembanyama's status for tonight will be determined after he goes through his warmup. He was a late addition to the injury report Monday night as questionable with left shoulder soreness."

Wembanyama is having an excellent rookie season and is averaging 20.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.4 blocks per contest while shooting 47.0% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range in 55 games. 

The Spurs are in rebuilding mode and are the 15th seed in the Western Conference with a 13-48 record in 61 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games but are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Spurs beat the Indiana Pacers by a score of 117-105.

Wembanyama had 31 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, one steal and six blocks while shooting 11/17 from the field and 3/4 from the three-point range in 31 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Rockets, the Spurs will visit the Sacramento Kings on Thursday evening in California. 

As for the Rockets, they are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 26-34 record in 60 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games.
