UPDATE: Zach LaVine's Status For Bulls-Mavs Game

Zach LaVine is on the injury report for Friday's game.

UPDATE: Zach LaVine has been ruled out.

On Friday night, the Chicago Bulls will be in Texas to face off with the Dallas Mavericks.

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Zach LaVine is on the injury report listed as questionable due to rest.

Underdog NBA: "Zach LaVine (rest) listed questionable for Friday."

The former UCLA star is currently averaging 24.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists per contest in 76 games.

He is also shooting 48.6% from the field and 37.7% from the three-point range.

Last season, LaVine helped lead the Bulls to the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2017.

Right now, the Bulls are the tenth seed (the final play-in tournament spot) in the Eastern Conference with a 38-42 record in 80 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

On the road, the Bulls have struggled, going just 17-23 in the 40 games they have played away from the United Center in Illinois.

As for the Mavs, they have also had a disappointing year.

They are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 38-42 record in 80 games.

Over the last ten games, the Mavs have gone 3-7, and they are 23-16 in the 39 games they have hosted on their home floor in Dallas.

Last year, they made the Western Conference Finals for the first time since the 2011 season (when they won the NBA Championship).

Both teams have very talented rosters that could make a deep run in the postseason (if they make the playoffs).
