UPDATE: Zion Williamson's Current Injury Status For Pelicans-Nuggets Game

Zion Williamson is on the injury report for Friday's game.

UPDATE: Zion Williamson is available (h/t Madeline Adams of Fox 8 New Orleans). 

On Friday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans will face off against Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets in Colorado. 

For the game, Zion Williamson is on the injury report, but he has been upgraded to probable, so he should be available.  

Via The Pelicans: "Zion Williamson (right quad contusion), Brandon Ingram (right Achilles soreness), CJ McCollum (right ankle sprain) and Trey Murphy (left knee tendonitis) have been upgraded to PROBABLE for tonight’s game at Denver"

Williamson is averaging 21.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 58.4% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range in 31 games.  

The Pelicans are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 23-15 record in their first 38 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Pelicans blew out the Golden State Warriors by a score of 141-105. 

In 30 minutes of playing time, Williamson had 19 points, five rebounds, seven assists and one steal while shooting 8/12 from the field. 

Following the Nuggets, the Pelicans will face off against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday evening in Texas. 

As for the Nuggets, they are 26-13 in their first 39 games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and 15-4 in the 19 games they have played at home. 

Following the Pelicans, the Nuggets will host the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
