UPDATE: Zion Williamson's Updated Injury Status For Pelicans-Rockets Game

Zion Williamson has been added to the injury report for Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: Zion Williamson has been ruled out (via Pelicans PR).  

On Wednesday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans will face off against Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets in Texas. 

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Zion Williamson has been added to the injury report. 

Via The New Orleans Pelicans: "For tonight’s game at Houston, Zion Williamson (left foot bone contusion) is QUESTIONABLE"

Williamson has played in 38 games and is averaging 22.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 59.0% from the field and 36.4% from the three-point range. 

The Pelicans are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 26-21 record in their first 47 games.  

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and are 4-6 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Pelicans lost to the Boston Celtics by a score of 118-112. 

In 31 minutes of playing time, Williamson had 26 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals while shooting 11/18 from the field. 

Following the Rockets, the Pelicans will travel to Texas to face off against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday evening. 

As for the Rockets, they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 22-24 record in their first 46 games. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and are coming off a 135-119 victory over LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. 

Following New Orleans, the Rockets will remain at home to host the Toronto Raptors on Friday evening in Houston, Texas.
