2x NBA All-Star Officially Traded To Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets have officially announced their trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

On Tuesday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported a trade between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets.  

Seven hours later, the Rockets officially announced that the trade had been completed.  

Via The Rockets: "The Houston Rockets today announced they have traded guard Kevin Porter Jr. and two future second round picks to Oklahoma City in exchange for guard Victor Oladipo and forward/center Jeremiah Robinson-Earl."

According to Wojnarowski, the Thunder will not keep Porter Jr., and he will be waived. 

Oladipo is coming off a season where he played in 42 games for the Miami Heat and averaged 10.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 39.7% from the field and 33.0% from the three-point range.

However, he got injured before the NBA playoffs began.

The 31-year-old is a two-time NBA All-Star and has career averages of 16.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 43.6% from the field and 34.7% from the three-point range.

In addition to the Heat, Oladipo has also played for the Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers, Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder. 

Meanwhile, Robinson-Earl has played two seasons of Oklahoma City. 

This past year, he averaged 6.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists per contest while shooting 44.4% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range in 43 games. 

The Rockets are coming off a year where they were the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 22-60 record. 

As for the Thunder, they were the tenth seed in the west with a 40-42 record and lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the play-in tournament.
