5x NBA All-Star Is Still A Free Agent

On April 3, five-time NBA All-Star John Wall remains a free agent.

The 2022-23 NBA season is coming to a close, as the playoffs will begin on April 15.

However, there are still plenty of talented free agents that remain on the market.

One of them is five-time NBA All-Star John Wall, who played in 34 games for the Los Angeles Clippers this season.

The Clippers traded Wall to the Houston Rockets, who waived him directly following the deal.

He averaged 11.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists per contest while shooting 40.8% from the field.

While Wall is no longer the star he once was, he could be a serviceable role player for a team that is competing in the NBA Playoffs.

Having good depth in the playoffs can be the difference-maker needed to win a series.

In addition, he could be a good mentor for a young team that will not make the playoffs.

The former Kentucky star has tons of experience as a former All-Star and top draft pick.

Wall's career averages are 18.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.6 steals per contest over 647 regular season games.

He's also played in 37 NBA Playoff games, and at the peak of his career, the Washington Wizards were a borderline contender (they made the second round twice).

If no team signs him before the end of the season, he could still end up being an underrated signing over the summer.

Wall is only 32 years old, and the time extended time off is not necessarily a bad thing, as he can be well-rested and prepared for whoever he signs with next.
