Key Golden State Warriors Player Ruled Out Against Heat

Trayce Jackson-Davis has been ruled out for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be in Florida for a showdown with the Heat.

For the game, the Warriors will be without one of their best role players, as rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis has been ruled.

Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic: "Trayce Jackson-Davis is out tonight in Miami, per Kerr. Knee soreness. Kevon Looney will get the backup center minutes."

Jackson-Davis was the 57th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft (out of Indiana) this past summer.

That said, he has been an important player for Golden State and is averaging 7.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest while shooting 71.4% from the field in 57 games (five starts).

The Warriors enter the night as the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 36-34 record in 70 games.

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

Most recently, the Warriors lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves (at the Target Center) by a score of 114-110.

Following the Heat, the Warriors will travel to Orlando for a showdown with Paolo Banchero and the Magic on Wednesday evening.

As for the Heat, they are the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 39-32 record in 71 games.

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and most recnetly lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 121-84

Following the Warriors, the Heat will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday evening in Miami, Florida.
