On Wednesday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be in Texas to face off with the Dallas Mavericks for the final game of their five-game road trip.

However, they will remain without one of their best players, as Andrew Wiggins has been ruled out due to personal reasons

The 2022 NBA All-Star has missed each of the last 16 games, so this will be his 17th straight out of the lineup.

Before his absence from the team, he had been in the middle of another productive season with averages of 17.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per contest in 37 games.

The former Kansas star is also shooting 47.3% from the field and 39.6% from the three-point range.

Last year, Wiggins was a big reason why the Warriors were able to win the NBA Championship over the Boston Celtics.

Right now, they are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-36 record in 73 games.

The Warriors are 4-6 in their last ten games and 8-29 in the 37 games they have played on the road away from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.

As for the Mavs, they are 36-36 in 72 games, which has them tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the seventh seed in the west.

They are 4-6 in their last ten games but have been excellent on their home floor.

In 36 games hosted in Dallas, Texas, the Mavs are 22-14.

They are coming off a season where they made the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2011.
