Andrew Wiggins Update Before Bucks-Warriors Game

Andrew Wiggins has missed each of the previous four games due to personal reasons

On Tuesday, the 2022 NBA All-Star returned to practice and he will also be available for Wednesday's showdown with the Milwaukee Bucks at the Chase Center.     

Via Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area & California: "Warriors coach Steve Kerr on Andrew Wiggins’ return today: ‘Andrew came back yesterday. He practiced today and he’ll play tomorrow.’"

Wiggins is averaging 12.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest while shooting 45.5% from the field and 35.1% from the three-point range in 51 games.  

The Warriors are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 32-28 record in 60 games.     

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics by a score of 140-88.  

The Warriors had been on four-game road trip and they will now have three games at home (Bucks on Wednesday, Bulls on Thursday and Spurs on Saturday). 

On the road, they are 16-13 in 29 games, while they have gone 16-15 in the 31 games they have played at home. 

Wiggins was the first pick in the 2014 NBA Draft out of Kansas and is in his tenth season in the league. 

He has also spent time with the Minnesota Timberwolves. 

His career averages are 18.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 44.9% from the field and 35.4% from the three-point range in 686 regular season games.
