Anthony Edwards' Absurd Dunk Is Going Viral In Timberwolves-Pistons Game

Anthony Edwards had a big dunk during Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves are facing off against the Detroit Pistons in Michigan.  

During the game, Anthony Edwards had a huge highlight that went viral on social media. 

The All-Star guard drove straight to the basket and threw down a one-handed dunk as he fell to the ground. 

Edwards is one of the most exciting players in the league and entered the evening with averages of 26.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 38.5% from the three-point range in 36 games. 

He has been the best player on the Timberwolves, who are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 28-11 record in their first 39 games.  

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 6-4 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Timberwolves beat James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers (at home) by a score of 109-105. 

Edwards played 38 minutes and put up an impressive 33 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two steals while shooting 10/16 from the field and 2/4 from the three-point range. 

Following the Pistons, the Timberwolves will return home to host the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday evening at the Target Center. 

As for the Pistons, they are the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 4-36 record in their first 40 games.  

They are 2-8 over their last ten games and coming off a 129-117 victory over Kyle Kuzma and the Washington Wizards.
