Anthony Edwards' Dunk Is Going Viral In Timberwolves-Celtics Game

Anthony Edwards had an exciting play during Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: At the end of the second quarter, Anthony Edwards had another big dunk. 

On Wednesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves are in Boston, facing off against the Celtics.

During the game, All-Star guard Anthony Edwards had an exciting play that got a lot of views on social media. 

The former Georgia star showed off his impressive handle to get by Jrue Holiday and then drove straight to the basket, where he finished off the play with a dunk. 

Edwards has become one of the best (and most exciting) players in the NBA.  

He came into the night with averages of 26.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 46.0% from the field and 38.5% from the three-point range in 33 games.  

In addition, the Timberwolves are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 26-10 record in their first 36 games. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Orlando Magic (in Florida) by a score of 113-92. 

In 26 minutes of playing time, Edwards had six points, four rebounds and three assists while shooting 2/7 from the field. 

Following the Celtics, the Timberwolves will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday at the Target Center. 

As for the Celtics, they are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 28-8 record in their first 36 games. 

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and will visit Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday evening in Wisconsin.
