Anthony Edwards' Intriguing Comment After Nuggets-Timberwolves Game 4

Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Denver Nuggets in Game 4.

On Sunday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves hosted the Denver Nuggets at the Target Center for Game 4 of their first-round playoff series.

They came into the night in a 3-0 hole, so they were on the verge of being swept.

That said, the Timberwolves didn't give up and won 114-108 in overtime to force a Game 5 in Denver on Tuesday night.

All-Star guard Anthony Edwards led the way with 34 points, six rebounds, five assists, two steals and three blocks in 45 minutes of playing time.

After the game, he met with the NBA on TNT broadcast and shared that he went to Karl-Anthony Towns' house the night before Game 4.

Stephanie Ready of TNT: "Ant, we talked this morning. You were very confident about your ability to win this game. What gave you that confidence?

Edwards: "I went to Kat's house last night, had a great conversation with him, so I knew he was gonna come out with energy."

Towns finished the game with 17 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 36 minutes of playing time.

The Timberwolves have had a disappointing year, going just 42-40 and finishing as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

They have an extremely talented roster, but the Nuggets (who are the first seed and had a 53-29 record) have proven to be a significant challenge.

Whoever wins the series will advance to the second round and face off with either the Phoenix Suns or Los Angeles Clippers.
