Anthony Edwards' Ridiculous Move On Anthony Davis Went Viral In Timberwolves-Lakers Game

On Saturday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves hosted the Los Angeles Lakers at the Target Center.

The Timberwolves won the game by a score of 108-106, and Anthony Edwards led the way with 31 points, three rebounds and three assists.

During the fourth quarter, Edwards had a big highlight that got a lot of attention on social media.

Edwards was being guarded by Anthony Davis and used an excellent crossover to create space before nailing a step-back jumper. 

Edwards is in the middle of another fantastic season and is averaging 26.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 45.6% from the field and 37.6% from the three-point range in 28 games.    

The Timberwolves have also been among the best teams in the league and improved to 24-7 in their first 31 games, which has them as the first seed in the Western Conference. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games.  

In addition, the Timberwolves are an outstanding 14-1 in the 15 games they have played on their home floor

Following the Lakers, they will now visit the New York Knicks on Monday afternoon at Madison Square Garden.  

As for the Lakers, they dropped to 17-16 in their first 33 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and 6-12 in the 18 games they have played on the road away from Los Angeles.
